Welcome to the HR Society!

If you are interested in personnel psychology, human resources, and other similar topics, this is the club for you. Our club is devoted to increasing student understanding of human resources and, more importantly, increasing student networking opportunities within the field of human resources in the greater Portland and southwest Washington area.

We accomplish these goals by:

• having human resource professionals from the region speak to our club members on a weekly basis.
• providing opportunities for students to attend the monthly luncheons of the Southwest Washington Human Resource Management Association, a gathering of HR professionals in the area.
• encouraging and helping students to become certified in the area of human resources by taking the national HR certification exam.
• organizing a yearly meet-the-firms night where members can network with local organizations that employ HR professionals.
• providing students with a chance to meet and interact with former HR and Personnel Psychology/HRM graduates of WSUV.
