Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff will assist the President and Vice President in ASWSUV leadership, maintain office procedures and supplies, act generally as an Executive Advisor and aide to the President

Director of Legislative Affairs

The Director of Legislative Affairs (DLA) shall serve the ASWSUV President as an executive cabinet officer in the ASWSUV Executive Branch. The DLA shall be responsible for representing the ASWSUV in the local, state, and national political scene in accordance with the agenda set forth by the ASWSUV President. The DLA when planning events must consider promoting diversity, community involvement, and research opportunities. The focus of the DLA involves in creasing student participation in the local, state, and national political process.

Director of Leadership Development

The Director of Leadership Development (DLD) shall serve the ASWSUV President as an executive cabinet officer in the ASWSUV Executive Branch. The DLD shall be responsible for efforts made by the ASWSUV concerning the development of student leadership at WS U Vancouver. The DLD shall also be responsible for exploring new involvement opportunities for students on campus in addition to organizing programs aimed at increasing leadership development among the student body. The DLD when planning events must consid er promoting diversity, community involvement, and research opportunities when developing leadership events/programs. This position shall also focus on the internal development within all branches of the ASWSUV.

Director of Communications

The Director of Communications (DC) shall serve the ASWSUV President as an executive cabinet officer in the ASWSUV Executive Branch. The DC shall be responsible for overseeing all internal and external communications concerning the ASWSUV. The DC shall be responsible for coordinating the ASWSUV’s overall communications strategy with the goal of connecting every student to the campus community. The DC shall also oversee all marketing and advertising effor ts, in addition to efforts concerned with public relations.

Assistant Director of Communications

The Assistant Director of Communications (ADC) shall serve the ASWSUV President as an executive cabinet officer in the ASWSUV Executive Branch. The ADC shall be responsible for collaborating with the Director of Communications (DC) in the design of all marketing and advertising materials in addition to the implementation of all communication strategies made by the ASWSUV President. The ADC shall also maintain, update, and work to develop the ASWSUV website.

Director of Student Enrichment

The Director of Student Enrichment (DSE) shall serve the ASWSUV President as an executive cabinet officer in the ASWSUV Executive Branch. The DSE shall be responsible for efforts made by the ASWSUV concerning the development of student enrichment at WSU Vancouver. The DSE shall also be responsible for asserting the needs and opinions of all students as they concern academics, the faculty, staff, and administration at WSU Vancouver. The DSE when planning events must consider promoting diversity, community involvement, and research opportunities when developing leadership events/programs. The DSE shall also be responsible for being informed on institutional changes that affect students and ASWSUV.
