I am a senior majoring in social sciences and minoring in business administration. I am serving my second term as a Senator for ASWSUV. I am a very outgoing person who loves all sports and the outdoors. Basketball is my favorite sport to play and watch. I also enjoy watching college athletics and always look forward to the football season. Go Cougs! As a senator I would like to improve student life on campus and create opportunities for good health and athletics. I am very approachable and interested in meeting new people, so if you see me on campus feel free to introduce yourself, I would love to talk and hear your thoughts and opinions. Improving our campus takes the whole student body and together we can create ideas and goals to take full advantage of our college experience. We are a young campus with lots of opportunities lets dream big and make the most of college. #GoVanCougs!

Hey! Ashlyn Salzman here, and if I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you yet, please introduce yourself to me as we cross paths this year! I transferred here as a Sophomore in the Spring of 2013 from WSU Pullman, and that's when I decided I wanted to get involved in building a community and an identity for our campus in Vancouver. That being said, I need your help in staying true to that goal. Let's hear what ideas you have for how I, as a member of student government, can help provide you with the best college experience possible, whatever that may mean to you. As we do this together, I'm confident that WSU Vancouver will be a place you feel at home, and that you will be proud to call yourself a Vancoug!

Hey everyone, my name is Cameron and I am part of ASWSUV working as a senator. I see this as an  important position for transforming the things students want into a reality here on campus. I believe   that this starts with effective communication. I hope that if you see me on campus you can tell me a   little about some of your ideas; at the very least say hi! I dual-major in neuroscience and psychology and   I like to think I’m pretty easy to talk to. Hope to see you around!

Hey Cougs!!! With this 2013-2014 year in senate, many goals are set before us as a student government and me as a senator. With the experience of my office term from 2012-2013, it will be my pleasure serving another term as your senator. Being on the campus affairs committee this year, goals such as bussing, developing an athletic committee and bringing more sports to campus, as well as working with registered student organizations are only a few of the goals set before our committee this year. As an athlete, my personal project and goal for this year would be developing and sustaining the athletic committee as well as working to provide students with more athletic opportunities on campus this year. Being a strong believer that in order to achieve a goal it takes an individual who is proactive and persistent, I plan to follow through and accomplish the task set before me using those particular skills.

Hey new and old WSU franz, I think you all are totally rad! Truth. I envision this year to be the best year as far as involvement goes, I truly believe we all can make a difference not only for ourselves but for our fellow WSU buds as well as our community. In our mind and hearts lies such growth and potential, it would be a shame not to channel that energy into a beam of positivity. My name is Jake, and I’m on the senate, I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t believe in its capabilities. Please inform me of any: ideas, hopes, desires, complaints, dreams, and any other kind of input that would make this lovely place even lovelier.

Hey Cougs! I’m Christina Price and I will be serving as one of your Senators this year. I’m majoring in marketing and figured this was a pretty remarkable way to get involved and network simultaneously. Outside of school I enjoy road tripping to camping destinations, brewing my own beer and kombucha, rereading everything written by Tom Robbins, and seeking out new places to dine near my home in Portland. If you see me on campus, feel free to come say hello, I’d love to meet you!
