Hello my name is Vanessa Valentine and this is my first year being apart of ASWSUV. I'm currently in my Senior year studying Personnel Psych and HR Management. The reason I become a Senator is because I felt I wanted to leave an impression my last year at WSU-V. Being involved with student government gives me the opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience as well as be the voice of the people here on campus. I've always been interested in the legislative process, and now I get to pursue that more while serving our community and the student body at large.

My name is Anita. I am a senior at WSUV, and will be graduating in May 2012. I am majoring in psychology with a minor in addiction studies. My goal in the future is to earn a master’s degree in counseling psychology and to one day counsel teenagers. I have three grown children, and in my spare time I like to travel, read, and spend time with family.

I am a junior majoring in Biology. My interests involve camping and attending local concerts. This past summer, I became one of the three newly elected ASWSUV Senators. I began my education at Clark College, where I earned an Associate’s degree in the summer of 2008. During that summer I traveled with the Clark College History Club to Egypt to volunteer at the St. John’s Christian School in Cairo. One of my aspirations is to go to medical school to become a general practitioner. A passion of mine is taking an active role in the student community which pushed me to apply for the role of Senator. As a new member of the Senate, I will work to the best of my ability for the students at WSUV.
